I never really know what to say in these bits. This whole public writing thing is new to me. Self-evaluation as soon as you set up your site just seems like a baptism of fire. So for now, I am a 29-year-old woman living in west London, in a flat with the love of my life and a great friend of ours. I met my boyfriend, Avi, when I went to New Zealand after university for ‘6 months’ and brought him back 18 months later. Having graduated with a masters degree in one area, I now find myself in a quite different sector, but one that is nevertheless inspiring me (most, if not all, of the time). I have always enjoyed writing, especially the kind of writing where the point is not to think too much about it, but I’ve never put it out there in a public forum like this so please, be gentle with me. I honestly don’t expect anyone to read this. It is primarily for me so that I may look back in years to come and remember the certifiable lunatic I once was (always assuming I have at all improved in the intervening years). However, if my ramblings interest or amuse anyone else then they are more than welcome to join in my joy, despair and, more often than not, humiliation. If not, then there’s plenty of other nonsense to read on the internet.
The names of my employer, work colleagues and anyone else I come into contact with in a professional capacity are referenced by initial or pseudonym only. However, the names of everyone else in my life are as they are. I hope they don’t mind but it would ruin the story to change them.
